Synopsis: Strengthening of Waffle and Fringe beams

A change in usage of a 9 storied building required the beams to be strengthened. More than 200 beams are to be strengthened in each building to achieve desired result. A full design of Strengthening was proposed which is now undergoing. The strengthening is done using carbon fibre laminates and composite fibre wraping system. Also composite rods are also used for strengthening.
