Rehabilitation of full bridge of ROB for JNPT, Navi Mumbai

This bridge connects the port to the cities, Without this bridge transportation will be very difficult and long. This bridge was previously retrofitted by us for only three spans. This was done to test the efficacy of the rehabilitation process. It was established that the rehabilitation process was effective and it was decided to retrofit whole bridge in the next phase. The remaining 31 spans are now retrofitted with fiber wrapping system, Carbon fibre Laminate prestressing system. The bearings are redesigned and changed. Steel trusses are also fitted in all spans. This is the largest Repair and Rehabilitation project in india using Carbon Fibre Wraps and Carbon Fibre Laminates.
